Industries we work with

The same three services, pointed at the problem each kind of business actually has. Dental, restaurants, legal, and home services.

The three services are the same everywhere. What changes is which problem they are pointed at, and that difference is large enough to be worth writing down.

A dental practice needs a voice agent that knows not to answer a clinical question and a recall list that runs without anyone remembering it. A restaurant needs one that can take a reservation against a real floor plan while the floor is at its busiest. A law firm needs intake that captures party names for a conflict check and stops well short of advice. A plumber needs to know which call is an emergency before deciding whether to climb out from under a sink.

These pages describe the systems for each. If your business is not listed, the underlying work is the same and the conversation is still worth having.

The common thread across all four is that the person best placed to answer the phone is the person who cannot stop to answer it. A dentist is chairside. A chef is on the pass. A solicitor is in court. A plumber is under a sink. In every case the call arrives at the exact moment the business is least able to take it, and in every case the caller has a list of alternatives.

The second thread is that these are businesses where the enquiry does not come back. Somebody with toothache, a table to book tonight, a legal deadline, or water coming through a ceiling is not going to try again tomorrow. That is what makes the missed call expensive rather than merely annoying, and it is why the fix is worth building properly rather than papering over with a voicemail greeting.

What differs is the detail, and the detail is most of the work. What counts as an emergency, what the agent must never attempt on its own, how long an appointment should be, which questions need a person, and what has to be captured before anyone bills time against it. Those rules are set per business, not per industry.
